TEKST 1: DLA IV-VIII KL SZKOŁY PODSTAWOWEJ

Anna’s Travel Blog

In September my family and I are leaving Britain to travel round the world. We started planning the trip last January, and we won't be back until June - that's 10 months of travelling! We're hoping to visit at least
20 countries in that time.
People often have to change their jobs or sell their home to do a trip like this, but Mum and Dad have their own business, and are going to find a manager for it until we get back. Unfortunately, I won't get a break from studying - Mum says we'll be able to go online most places, so i'll just email my school work to my teachers.

We have to pack much more carefully than usual. There won't be space for lots of nice clothes and different pairs of shoes, but I know I can't live without my travel pillow. If I have that, I can sleep anywhere. Of course we can't take our cat and I know I will miss her badly. But I'm sure she'll have lots of fun at my grandparent's house.
I'll chat to my friends online often and will put photos on this blog.
Bye for now!

TEKST 2: DLA I-IV KL LICEUM

Rusty's Travels

Throughout history there have been lots of stories about animals and how clever or brave they can be. Take, for example, all the films about dogs, cats and other animals making amazing journeys to find their owners after they've become lost. But dogs are also known to be particularly skilled at persuading people to feel sorry for them and give them food when they're hungry!
One dog has shown himself to be especially good at both finding his way around and getting food.

Every morning Rusty the dog goes down to his local railway station. He gets in a queue with
all the other passengers to board the train from the suburbs where he lives, and then rides into the city centre. When he gets there, Rusty jumps off the train and goes off to the shops. He always goes around all his favourite food shops, where he's given special things to eat. First stop is a corner shop, where he has handmade biscuits that the owner gives him every morning for his breakfast. 'He's quite particular, says the owner. He'll only accept his favourite biscuits and refuses any others I try to give him. Even though I'm sure he's hungry, he's just not interested!

Then later in the morning, Rusty goes over to his friend the restaurant owner, where he gets a plate of food for his lunch. When he's eaten everything, Rusty makes his way home on the train.
When Rusty first started making this trip, station staff refused to allow him to get on the train without anyone to accompany him or buy a ticket for him. But then they felt sorry for him and have now given him a free ticket, because they've been so impressed by his cleverness at finding his way around the city's complicated transport system without getting lost.

However, at one stage Rusty worried all his friends in the city by failing to appear at his favourite eating places for several days. This started a search for the missing dog, and his picture was shown in newspapers and on TV. Rusty finally returned to find he'd become a TV star. 'He's obviously been off on an adventure,' said one TV viewer, 'but Rusty's not telling anyone what he's been up to!"
The corner shop owner was certainly glad that Rusty was back. Thanks to the publicity I've got through Rusty, my shop's full of customers - and they all want to buy some of Rusty's favourite biscuits!'
